Once more, the Regina Urgent Care Centre will operate with reduced hours on Tuesday. The centre is set to operate from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., before returning to its regular hours on Wednesday. The UCC’s typical operating schedule is 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily. The Saskatchewan Health Authority says these service adjustments are due to physician availability and are done toe ensure the availability of services to its patients. During hours when not in service, the SHA urged people experiencing medical emergencies to call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department at either Regina General Hospital or Pasqua Hospital. For non-emergency medical care, SHA recommended HealthLine 811 for 24/7 professional health and mental health advice, pharmacies which may be open and help with minor health concerns or walk-in clinics. The urgent care centre was originally promised to operate 24/7 when first announced, but persistent staffing shortages have resulted in numerous service disruptions since its opening in 2024. To this date, the centre hasn’t operated 24/7.
