A total of 10 people have been displaced and damages are estimated at $850,000 after a ‘deliberately set’ fire in Windsor. Crews were called to the 900 to 1100 block of Campbell Avenue around 5 p.m. Monday where three homes ended up being impacted. During the fire, a chimney collapse was been reported and residents in the area were asked to keep their windows and doors closed, due to the heavy smoke. Three buildings were involved in the blaze and no injuries have been reported. The scene was being held overnight by Windsor police for the arson unit to investigate. Police say a suspect was seen on the property shortly before the incident. He is described as an Asian male with a dark complexion and medium build, wearing an orange coat and hat. He was last seen fleeing the area on a bicycle. Residents and businesses in the area are asked to review their surveillance or dashcam footage for any evidence that may assist investigators.
