The Windsor Police Service has charged a 22-year-old Kitchener man in connection with a drug trafficking investigation. Around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, police were called to suspected drug activity in a bathroom of a restaurant around Goyeau Street and University Avenue East. When police spoke with witnesses and reviewed video surveillance, they obtained a description of the suspect. A man matching that description was then found near Park Street and Pelissier Street. The WPS tried to speak with the man, when he allegedly ran. Officers caught up and then arrested him. The 22-year-old Kitchener man is now charged with possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking.
