Heavy police presence shuts down stretch of Wallace Street in Wallaceburg

Police say an incident that prompted a heavy presence on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg has been resolved and the area is now clear.

Earlier, residence were being asked to avoid the area between Prince Street and Mitchell Drive.

Officers reported being in the area as they engaged with what was described as a person in crisis. Police said there is no threat to public safety.
