Remains of B.C. man missing since 2023 found, foul play suspected: RCMP

The remains of a B.C. man who was reported missing more than two years ago have been found and authorities say “foul play” is suspected in his death.

Jordan Nande left Fort Nelson with “local associates” in February of 2023 and his last known location was in Kamloops in March of that year, the RCMP’s Southeast District Major Crime Unit said in a news release Thursday.

On April 11, 2025, remains were found in the Pendleton Creek area of rural Kamloops.

“The area was searched and the skeletal remains were later confirmed to be those of Jordan Nande. It is believed that foul play led to his death,” the statement from police said.

In 2023, police said Nande was “wanted on an arrest warrant and may be avoiding contact with police.” Details about the warrant were not provided.
