Do you recognize this man? RCMP seek person of interest in Kamloops groping

Mounties are appealing to the public for help identifying a person of interest in an alleged groping incident in Kamloops, B.C., last month.

In a news release Wednesday, Kamloops RCMP said officers were called to reports of a woman being groped while she was shopping in the 450 block of Lansdowne Street, just before 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 20.

Authorities said the man fled the scene on foot after he was confronted by security.

“Kamloops RCMP are releasing a photo of the person in hopes of advancing the investigation,” Cpl. Dana Napier said in the release.

The man can be seen wearing a black sweater, black toque, and beige cargo pants.
