Hwy. 7 closed near Perth after collision involving propane truck

Police have closed Highway 7 near Perth, Ont. after a two-vehicle crash between a propane truck and a passenger vehicle Saturday.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) posted to X at 2:34 p.m. advising drivers to avoid the area after a “multi-vehicle” collision.

An OPP spokesperson says one individual has been transported to hospital with unknown injuries.

The highway has remained closed between Leachs Road and Tennyson Road as an investigation continues.
