3 hospitalized after multi-vehicle crash in Langley

Three people have been taken to hospital, one with serious injuries, following a crash involving multiple vehicles in Langley.

Three people were taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 1 in Langley Thursday afternoon.

Mounties responded to the collision near the 24700 block of Highway 1 around 5:45 p.m. and closed the westbound lanes for several hours so the Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service could investigate.

The crash involved a semi-truck and three other vehicles. Images from the scene show two heavily damaged SUVs on the road and a pickup truck in a ditch.

B.C. Emergency Health Services told CTV News paramedics took three patients to hospital, two with minor injuries and one with serious injuries.

Police asked anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash camera video to call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
