A collision on Highway 6 shut down traffic in both directions Tuesday morning just south of Morriston. Ontario Provincial Police said it happened around 7:30 a.m. and at least five vehicles were involved, including two transports. One of the trucks, carrying a load of powdered cement, went off the road near Leslie Road West. The driver told CTV News he had only minor injuries. Another transport truck was sent to the scene of the crash to unload the powdered cement. Once that was completed, crews could remove the truck and clean up the road. Highway 6 remained closed for the rest of the morning and into the afternoon, between Badenoch Street and Leslie Road West, while that work was underway.
