TTC and Metrolinx are warning of several service changes this weekend across the Greater Toronto Area. Both transit agencies say the adjustments are due to planned track work and construction. Line 1 There will be no subway service between Finch and Sheppard-Yonge stations along the Yonge-University line starting 11:59 p.m. Friday night due to planned track work. Shuttle buses will run until the end of subway service at approximately 2 a.m. North York Centre station will also be closed, the TTC says. Regular service will resume on Saturday at about 6 a.m. Line 2 There will be no subway service along the Bloor-Danforth line between Kipling and Jane stations all weekend due to planned track work. Shuttle buses will replace the trains and the TTC says customers with accessibility needs can also take the 149 Etobicoke-Bloor accessibility shuttle buses which operate between Kipling and High Park stations. The Grenview Boulevard Entrance at Royal York Station will be closed, but all TTC stations will remain open for any ticketing or PRESTO service. Regular service will resume on Monday at approximately 6 a.m. Next week, the TTC says subway service on Line 2 between Kipling to Islington stations will end at 11:59 p.m. nightly from Monday to Friday due to planned track work. Lakeshore East Metrolinx says starting late Friday night and throughout this weekend, GO buses will replace trains along the Lakeshore East line between Durham College Oshawa and Pickering GO due to planned construction. There will be no GO Transit service between Rouge Hill and Danforth GO. Stouffville The Stouffville line will also see service adjustments this weekend. GO buses will replace trains at all stations except Kennedy, Agincourt and Milliken GO due to planned construction. Metrolinx says this means there will be no GO Transit service at Milliken, Agincourt, or Kennedy GO over the weekend.
