Halifax police and search crews are looking for a missing 78-year-old man. Robert “Ted” Lemoyre was last seen in Halifax on Saturday. Police found Lemoyre’s 2022 red Buick Encore on Westridge Drive around 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Halifax Search and Rescue, along with police, have searched the area, but have yet to find Lemoyre. “There is no information to suggest that Ted has met with foul play, however, police and his family are concerned for his well-being,” a Halifax Regional Police news release reads. Lemoyre is described as standing five-foot-six and weighing 150 pounds with a medium build. He has blue eyes and short, brush-cut grey hair. He was last seen wearing a sky-blue T-shirt, blue jeans, a black windbreaker jacket, black shoes and a white baseball cap.
