Fentanyl traffickers arrested in ‘Project Endless,’ York police say

Eight people have been arrested following a nearly year-long investigation into fentanyl trafficking, York Regional Police say.

The suspects were arrested following the execution of five search warrants on Oct. 25 which police say led to the seizure of methamphetamine, raw fentanyl, cocaine, illicit cannabis, and MDMA.

Dubbed Project Endless, the joint York Regional Police and Ontario Provincial Police investigation began in December 2024, according to a press release issued Monday.

The suspects were involved in trafficking drugs across York Region and Ontario, police allege. Police said $300,000 in cash, three firearms, and two vehicles were seized as part of the investigation.
