One dead after rollover on Highway 4 near Cochin, Sask.

One person is dead after a rollover on Highway 4 near the community of Cochin, Sask.

Saskatchewan RCMP responded to the single-vehicle rollover on Highway 4, around 8 kilometres north of Cochin on Thursday morning.

One of the vehicles passengers were declared dead at the scene by paramedics. They have been identified as a teenager from North Battleford.

A second passenger and the driver of the vehicle were both transported to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

As of 2:19 p.m., both lanes of Highway 4 were re-opened.

The investigation into the crash continues with the help of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
