Fall immunization bookings officially open in Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan residents can now start booking their vaccinations for both the flu and COVID-19.

As temperatures continue to dip as the province slides into fall, health officials are once again encouraging residents to book their vaccinations.

Both Influenza and COVID-19 vaccines will be available at public health clinics, participating pharmacies and some physician and nurse practitioner offices beginning Tuesday, Oct. 7.

The vaccines are available, free of charge, to any eligible resident of the province aged six months and older. Children aged six months to five years may only be immunized at a Saskatchewan Health Authority public health clinic, health office, or by a physician or nurse practitioner.

Residents can book immunizations for themselves or their entire family in one appointment through the SHA’s online booking tool or by calling 1-833-727-5829.
