Serious injuries reported in Caledon collision, Hwy. 10 and McLaughlin Road closed

At least two people are in hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Caledon on Sunday evening, police say.

The collision happened on Highway 10 and King Street.

The OPP said they were called to that area around 6:45 p.m. for reports of a multi-vehicle collision involving passenger vehicles.

Those who were transported to the hospital have serious, but non-life-threatening or life-altering injuries, the OPP said.

Currently, Highway 10 and McLaughlin Road are closed in both directions between King Street for the ongoing investigation.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and plan alternate routes.
