Police in New Brunswick have identified the driver suspected in an alleged hit-and-run in Dieppe earlier this month. Codiac Regional RCMP said officers responded to a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Champlain Street and Acadie Avenue on May 5 around 12:20 p.m. The pedestrian was treated at the scene by paramedics with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. According to police, the driver left the scene and was spotted travelling southbound on Acadie Avenue. On Friday, police released images of the driver and SUV believed to be involved in the hit-and-run. Police said the driver and vehicle have since been identified.
