Environment Canada lifts freezing drizzle advisory for Ottawa

Environment Canada has lifted a yellow advisory – freezing drizzle issued for the Ottawa area on Sunday.

The advisory called for “freezing drizzle with light ice build-up” and was lifted shortly after 11 a.m.

On Saturday, Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for Ottawa, warning of heavy snow and freezing rain overnight and into Sunday morning.

Forecast

On Sunday, the temperature will reach a high of 0 C, with cloudy conditions in the evening and a low of -6 C.

On Monday, temperatures will reach a high of 2 C with mostly clear skies.

On Tuesday, expect a mix of sun and clouds and a temperature high of 2 C.
