Calgary police are investigating a hit-and-run on Monday that left a teenage pedestrian injured. The collision happened in the area of 23 Avenue and 52 Street N.E., behind the Village Square shopping centre, at 11:30 a.m. “It is believed an altercation between a male driver and the teen occurred, and the driver attempted to leave the area in his vehicle and struck the teen,” police said in a statement. Police say the teen was taken to hospital in stable condition. EMS says the youth was in non-life-threatening condition when transported. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
