Regina police arrest 2 in connection to city’s 2nd homicide of 2026

Two men have been charged in connection to the city’s second homicide of 2026.

Regina police have now arrested and charged two suspects in connection to the city’s second homicide of the year.

At around 1:15 a.m. on April 13, officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of 5th Avenue for the report of an injured person.

The man, 36-year-old Myles Anderson of Regina, was already in critical condition when police arrived. Officers attempted life-saving measures as they waited for paramedics to arrive. Anderson was declared dead at the scene shortly after.

On Friday, April 24, a search warrant was executed at a home on the 1600 block of Toronto Street. A suspect was found inside the home and arrested.

According to Regina police, Blayne Okemaysim has been charged with second-degree murder.

Okemaysim made his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on April 27.

In an update issued Monday afternoon, Regina police revealed that officers took 26-year-old Jordan Goodpipe into custody.

He has also been charged with second-degree murder.

Goodpipe is scheduled to make his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Tuesday, April 28.
