Man killed, three people injured in two-vehicle crash in Shubenacadie, N.S.

The RCMP is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision in Shubenacadie, N.S.

On Sunday morning around 9:55 a.m., emergency crews responded to a report of the crash in the 2500 block of Highway 2.

A southbound Chevrolet Cruze turning left onto Densmore Road and a southbound Land Rover Discovery collided, according to an RCMP news release.

The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze, a 47-year-old man from Manitoba, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Land Rover, a 33-year-old man from Dartmouth, N.S., was airlifted to the hospital by EHS LifeFlight with life-threatening injuries.

His two passengers were also transported to the hospital by EHS with non-life-threatening injuries. They’re a 37-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, both from Enfield, N.S.

An RCMP investigation into the collision is ongoing.
