Periods of snow in the forecast for Ottawa on Sunday

Ottawa residents should prepare for a snowy Sunday with mild temperatures.

According to Environment Canada’s weather forecast, periods of snow are expected throughout the day and the evening.

The temperature is expected to reach a high of -3 C with a windchill of -8 during the day. Overnight, the temperature will reach a low of -7 C with a 13 windchill.

On Monday, expect a mild day with temperatures near 0 C.

Tuesday will be sunny but cool with a temperature high of -10 C.

Wednesday expect -4 C and a 40 per cent chance of snow.
