The case has been cracked, and Kerri Moran is the winner of CTV and MOVE 100’s La-Z-Boy Comfort Heist. On Wednesday, MOVE 100 listener Moran was handed a $15,000 cheque to spend at La-Z-Boy. “I feel amazing. I feel so happy and blessed and very, very grateful,” Moran said. Ron Mathurin, president of La-Z-Boy Ottawa-Kingston, says Moran will be able to refurnish her entire living room with the prize. “That’s something that should be able to do, from rugs to tables and lamps and sofas and chairs, artwork. Should be able to get the whole room redone completely,” Mathurin said. To participate, MOVE 100 listeners had to tune into to Sophie & Jeff In The Morning on weekdays, where daily clues were given to narrow down the location of “stolen” goods. Listeners submitted their daily guesses to solve the mystery and earn a chance at the $15,000 grand prize. Bonus clues were also hidden at La-Z-Boy location in Kanata, Cyrville and Hunt Club. Moran’s friend helped her play the contest and, in an unexpected addition, La-Z-Boy also awarded them with $2,000 to spend at the store.
