Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who stole a delivery truck and then fraudulently used credit and debit cards left in the vehicle. A delivery truck parked in front of a home on Homestead Street in Ottawa’s Fisher Glen neighbourhood was stolen at approximately 11:10 a.m. on February 19, according to police. Police say following the theft, the suspect used the driver’s credit and debit cards to make unauthorized purchases. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, dark track pants, distinctive black-and-white sneakers and a large ring on his right hand. “The suspect had a shaved head and was observed wearing a face covering positioned around his chin and neck area, and he appears to have facial hair,” police said.
