Man killed in ATV crash in Ottawa’s west end

The Ottawa Police Service is looking to speak with any witnesses to a fatal all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash in Ottawa’s west end.

A 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in the 1700 block of Dunrobin Road on Wednesday.

Police say officers responded to a report of a collision involving an ATV on private property on Dunrobin Road, between Kerwin Road and Cameron Harvey Drive, at approximately 5:10 p.m.

“The driver, a 49-year-old man, was located at the scene with serious injuries,” police said in a media release on Thursday. “Despite lifesaving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.”

Police are asking for anyone with information regarding the collision, or who may have cameras on their properties that may have footage of the area at the time of the crash to contact investigators.
