No arrests have been made after a business at the boundary between Delta and Surrey was hit with gunfire in the early hours of Saturday morning, according to police. The Delta Police Department says officers responded to a report of shots fired near 82 Avenue and 120 Street around 3:40 a.m. “Officers arrived on scene, located shell casings, and confirmed several shots had been fired into an unoccupied business,” the department wrote in a statement. Police said the incident appears targeted, but it is not clear yet whether the shooting was linked to extortion. The department said investigators will be in the area Saturday to gather video and speak to witnesses.
