Cooler temperatures to move into Ottawa on Wednesday

Cooler temperatures will move into Ottawa today after the two hottest days of the year.

The temperature warmed up to 29.2 C on Tuesday, after the temperature hit 28.3 C on Monday.

Environment Canada’s forecast calls for a high of 20 C today and 15 C on Thursday, with overnight lows of 4 C tonight and 2 C on Thursday.

Temperatures are expected to hover just below the seasonal mark for Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, with highs of 19 C on Saturday and 17 C on Sunday.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 21 C and a low of 9 C.

It will be mainly sunny today. The temperature will remain steady around 20 C.

The forecast says it will be mainly clear tonight. Low 4 C.

Thursday will see a mix of sun and clouds. High 15 C.

Sunshine is expected on Friday. High 19 C.

The outlook for Saturday calls for mainly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers. High 19 C.

Sunday will be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers. High 17 C.
