Police seek suspects in theft of UTV, trailer in West Nipissing

Ontario Provincial Police’s Nipissing West detachment is seeking the public’s help in locating a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) and a trailer stolen from a business along Highway 17 in West Nipissing last weekend and those responsible for the theft.

“Sometime in the early morning hours of Sunday June 29, 2025, unknown person(s) attended a local business, broke through a locked fence, and removed a UTV and trailer from the property,” OPP said on social media.

Police shared details of the theft investigation and provided stock photos of missing vehicle and trailer for reference.

The UTV is described as a red 2024 Can-Am Defender Max XT HD9, with an Ontario plates 5D87K

The utility trailer is described as a black 2022 Miska Landscape, 24-feet in length, with an Ontario plate W52 66M.

Authorities described the vehicle suspected to be involved as a newer model white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck (photo shown above).

“Officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) and anyone else involved in the theft or possession of these item(s,)” police wrote.
