Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s help in locating what’s believed to be a transport truck that fled a collision Sunday evening on Highway 11 in Cochrane.

The crash took place between 7 and 7:15 p.m. in the eastbound lane of Highway 11, east of Red Pine Road North in Cochrane.

“When police arrived, one of the involved vehicles had already left the area,” police said in a news release Jan. 26.

“Minor injuries were reported as a result of the collision. The vehicle that left the scene is believed to be a transport truck, last seen traveling eastbound on Highway 11 near Lookout Road.”

Police are hoping the transport driver or anyone who was in the vehicle at the time of the crash will come forward.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
