Thunderstorm warnings, which were issued for Montreal, Longueuil and the surrounding region, ended just after 3 p.m. Just before 2 p.m., Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Montreal, Longueuil, Repentigny and other nearby regions. About half an hour later, the warning was dropped for Montreal but remained in effect for Longueuil and Varennes. The Longueuil warning was ended within an hour.
