Vancouver police say a shooting took place in the Spanish Banks beach parking lot at around 4:50 p.m. on Saturday. The Vancouver Police Department said witnesses saw two masked men “shoot at an occupied parked vehicle.” The VPD says officers have arrested one suspect so far and described it as a targeted incident with no known victims. Video obtained by CTV News shows several police vehicles parked in a taped-off area near Fraser Street and E 50th Avenue, one of which collided with a dark blue Honda CRV SUV. A fuel can spout is visible behind the SUV’s front passenger seat. “This incident is under investigation. We will update the community when more information becomes available,” the VPD stated.
