Here are the Montreal-area weekend road closures

Drivers in and around Montreal should be aware that certain roads will be closed due to construction, including on the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge.

Planning ahead before leaving is advised.

Samuel-De Champlain Bridge/Turcot Interchange

• From Friday at 11 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., Highway 15 South will be closed between Exit 63-O (Highway 20 West) on Highway 15 South (Décarie) at the Turcot Interchange in Montreal and the on-ramp from Route-132 to Highway 10 East in Brossard, including the Samuel-de-Champlain Bridge.

By default, the following will close at 9 p.m. on Highway 15 South:

• Access from Girouard Avenue.
• Access from de la Vérendrye Boulevard.

At 10 p.m., the following closures will be in place:

• Exit 68 (ramps to A-15 northbound and A-15 southbound) on Highway 20 eastbound.
• Access from Route-136 West to Highway 15 South.
• Highway 10 eastbound (Bonaventure), at Exit 4 (A-15, A-20).
• Exit 5 (Île-des-Sœurs).
• On Highway 15 South, access from Île-des-Sœurs Boulevard and René-Lévesque Boulevard (Île-des-Sœurs REM station).

Victoria Bridge/Route 112

• From Friday at 11 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., traffic heading toward the South Shore will use the single lane on the west span of the Victoria Bridge (Jacques-Cartier Bridge side).
• From Monday at 5 a.m. through Thursday, Sept. 10, the east span of the Victoria Bridge (Samuel-De Champlain Bridge side) will close, and traffic will be restricted to the single lane of the bridge’s west span (Jacques-Cartier Bridge side) on weekdays between midnight and noon towards Montreal and between noon and midnight on the South Shore bound side.

Jean-Lesage Highway (A-20)

• In Boucherville, from Friday at 11 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., Jean-Lesage Highway (A-20) will be closed between Exit 95 (De Montarville Boulevard) and the next on-ramp.

Montarville Boulevard South (Boucherville)

• From Friday at 10:30 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., De Montarville Boulevard heading south will be closed between Chemin de Touraine and the on-ramp to Highway 20 West.
• One lane will remain open between Ampère Street and Touraine Road to allow access to businesses. De Montarville Boulevard heading north will remain open.

Highway 25 South

• From Friday at 10:30 p.m. to Saturday at 8 a.m., Exit 4 (Montreal/Downtown) will be closed on Highway 25 South.

Souligny Avenue West

• From Friday at 11 p.m. to Thursday at 5 a.m., Souligny Avenue will be completely closed to westbound traffic between Honoré-Beaugrand Street and Highway 25 interchange.

Souligny Avenue East

• From Sunday at 11 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m., Souligny Avenue will be completely closed to eastbound traffic between Dickson and Honoré-Beaugrand Streets.

Ville-Marie Tunnel (R-136)

• Until Friday, Aug. 28, at midnight, on the Ville-Marie Expressway (R-136) westbound in the Ville-Marie tunnel, one of two lanes will be closed at Exit 5 (A-10 West, Samuel-De Champlain Bridge, Robert-Bourassa Boulevard).

REM

• REM service will start at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday between Gare Central, Deux-Montagnes and Anse-à-l’Orme stations.

Highway 520 (Côte-de-Liesse)

• In Dorval, on Highway 520 West (Côte-de-Liesse), the southbound on-ramp from Roméo-Vachon Boulevard will be closed until Thursday, November 11, at midnight.
