Violence broke out after an argument between two neighbours over excess noise on Wednesday. Just after 5 p.m., police were called to the 700 block of London Road after a 64-year-old male was stabbed twice by his neighbour in his upper arm and right shoulder blade. According to a police investigation, the two neighbors had argued over excess noise caused by the suspect earlier in the day. Shortly after the argument, the suspect knocked on the victim’s front door. The neighbour opened the door and another argument ensued, prompting the suspect to stab the victim with a knife. Paramedics treated the victim’s wounds on scene and transported him to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect has been charged by police with aggravated assault, possession of a dangerous weapon and two counts of disobeying a court order. He remains in custody following a bail hearing.
