Kindersley RCMP are investigating a series of business thefts in west-central Saskatchewan that they believe may be connected. Police say the incidents took place in Kindersley, Eatonia and Eston between Sept. 1 and Sept. 3. The first theft was reported around 8:40 p.m. on Sept. 1 at a business on 11th Avenue East in Kindersley. RCMP say three people attempted to leave the store with a large amount of unpaid merchandise. An employee confronted the group, who fled and left the merchandise behind. The next day at around 3:25 p.m., the second theft was reported at a business on Railway Avenue East in Eatonia. Police say three people entered the store and stole several handheld tools. The third incident was reported around 6:50 p.m. on Sept. 3 at a business on Railway Avenue Southeast in Eston. RCMP say a trailer and side-by-side were stolen from the property. “Based on evidence gathered to date, investigators believe the thefts may be connected,” RCMP said. The suspects are described as two men and one woman believed to be in their late teens or 20s. Police say one man was seen wearing blue jeans and an orange-and-green camouflage Zoo York hoodie, while the second was wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie with a graphic on the front, a tan jacket and a black hat. The woman was wearing a black tank top, black leggings and dark-coloured sneakers. RCMP say the suspects may be travelling in a 2015 GMC Sierra crew cab truck with what appears to be a generator in the truck bed. Police have not located the suspects or the vehicle and the investigation continues. Anyone with information about the thefts or the truck is asked to contact RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
