Man behind ‘Creeper Hunter TV’ representing himself on latest charges

Creeper Hunter TV’s Jason Nassr will represent himself on new charges following his arrest last week.

The man who started the vigilante website “Creeper Hunter TV” remains in custody Wednesday night after a brief court appearance via Zoom from the Elgin-Middlesex Detention Centre.

Jason Nassr, 45, of Windsor is facing two counts of harassment and one count of failing to comply with a court order after being arrested last week outside the Forest City Film Festival.

He was in downtown London attending the screening of a documentary based on his website which is now defunct.

Convicted of distributing child pornography, harassment and extortion in 2023, one of Nassr’s release orders was for him to stay more than 200 metres away from the family of his victims.

When his website was operating, the court has heard that Nassr would pose as a young child trying to catch predators online.

On Wednesday he told the court that he would not need a lawyer because he is proceeding with his latest charges by representing himself.

After a day long bail hearing on Monday Nassr was denied release.

He is expected to be back in court on Nov. 10.
