Guelph man accused of stealing $3.3K in alcohol from LCBO

A Guelph man has been arrested following a series of thefts from a local LCBO store.

Police said, between March 31 and April 27, 2025, a man entered a west-end location on three separate occasions and placed multiple bottles of alcohol into shopping bags before leaving without paying.

Police said the suspect was identified with assistance from the LCBO’s own investigators, who recognized him from similar cases in other jurisdictions. They shared no further details about those alleged incidents.

The 30-year-old Guelph man was charged with three counts of theft under $5,000.
