Who the Kitchener Rangers, Guelph Storm and Brantford Bulldogs will play in the OHL playoffs

With the OHL playoffs just days away, CTV’s Alexandra Holyk takes a look at the local playoff matchups.

The OHL playoffs get underway later this week and we finally know which teams will face off against each other in the first round of the tournament.

The Kitchener Rangers finished the regular season in top spot and will take on the eighth-seeded Saginaw Spirit.

Here is the schedule for those games:

• Game 1 – Friday, March 27 at 7 p.m. – Kitchener Memorial Auditorium
• Game 2 – Sunday, March 29 at 7 p.m. – Kitchener Memorial Auditorium
• Game 3 – Tuesday, March 31 at 7:05 p.m. – The Dow Event Centre
• Game 4 – Thursday, April 2 at 7:05 p.m. – The Dow Event Centre
• Game 5 – Friday, April 3 at 7 p.m. – Kitchener Memorial Auditorium*
• Game 6 – Monday, April at 7:05 p.m. – The Dow Event Centre*
• Game 7 – Tuesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. – Kitchener Memorial Auditorium*

The Guelph Storm, meantime, will play the Windsor Spitfires.

In the Eastern Conference, the Brantford Bulldogs finished first in regular season action. They’ll now play the eight-seeded Sudbury Wolves in round one of the playoffs.
