Two people robbed at gunpoint in Elmira

Waterloo Regional Police are trying to identify a suspect and vehicle involved in an armed robbery in Elmira.

The two victims were standing outside an unnamed business at Union Street and Bonnie Crescent around 2:15 p.m. Monday.

They said a stranger with a gun walked up to them and stole their personal property and cash.

The male then got into the back of a black sedan that was last seen travelling west on Bonnie Crescent.

The victims told police he was wearing black clothing and a face covering.
