Stolen vehicles, prohibited weapons and drugs seized from Brant County properties

Ontario Provincial Police said a drug trafficking investigation led officers to properties in Brant County where they recovered stolen vehicles, prohibited weapons and ammunition.

Search warrants were carried out on Harley Road, west of Burford, at 2:30 a.m. on June 2.

Police said they found suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, Xanax and oxycodone, along with drug trafficking paraphernalia.

They also seized two stolen pickup trucks, two stolen sport utility vehicles, prohibited weapons, ammunition and Canadian cash.

OPP said a 38-year-old man was arrested and charged with:

• Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
• Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
• Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking
• Unauthorized possession of a weapon
• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000
• Three counts of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
• Four counts of possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
• Four counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
