Public health looking for dog involved in Stratford incident

Huron Perth Public Health is trying to find a dog that was involved in an incident in Stratford.

In a news release, public health said the incident happened in the Snake Hill Road area on Saturday around 12 p.m. Public health did not specify what the incident involved, but said they want to ensure the dog is up to date on its rabies vaccines.

The dog has been described as medium-sized with short black hair. It was unleashed at the time and officials believe it may have come from the direction of the Romeo Street/Ontario Street.

Public health believes the owner may be a tall, thin man with brown hair who was in his mid-30s. He was wearing jeans and a plaid shirt.
