Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a man after a robbery in Kitchener. Police say the incident happened Friday around 6:30 a.m. near King Street West and Francis Street. An investigation found that a person was walking in the area when the suspect approached and began to yell at them and assault them while trying to steal their belongings. Officers arrested the suspect when they arrived at the scene. The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries. A 33-year-old man was charged with robbery.
