Free Easter egg hunts in Waterloo Region and Guelph

The Easter Bunny will be hopping around events in Waterloo Region and Guelph this long weekend! Here are a few free Easter egg hunts happening in the area.

St. Jacobs Easter Egg Hunt

• Saturday, April 4 at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
• St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market, 878 Weber Street North in Woolwich

Head to the Farmer’s Market Farmyard for a family-friendly Easter egg hunt and meet the Easter Bunny! Some vendors will also be offering candy to anyone who spots an Easter egg sign at their booths.

Parkview Church’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt

• Saturday, April 4 from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
• Parkview Church, 89 Speedvale Avenue East in Guelph

Join Parkview Church for their annual event featuring bouncy castles, treats and a free Easter egg hunt. Egg hunts will be held every 30 minutes and children can participate more than once, but they will only receive one chocolate goodie bag.

Downtown Cambridge Easter Egg Hunt

• Saturday, April 4 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
• Encore Threads and Treasures, 103-60 Main Street in Cambridge

The Downtown Cambridge BIA’s annual Easter Egg Hunt is back! Pick up a map at Encore Threads and Treasures and then stop at more than 30 participating businesses to join in on the fun.

Hespeler Village Easter Egg Hunt

• Saturday, April 4 from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m.
• Hespeler Village Square in Cambridge

The Hespeler BIA and Melissa Francis Team invite everyone out for some Easter fun. Pick up a map behind the fire station at Hespeler Village Square and then hop along Queen Street looking for Easter Eggs in shop windows. Get your map stamped and receive a special treat.

Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation for the Cambridge Food Bank.

2026 Uptown Egg Hunt

• Saturday, April 11 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
• Waterloo Public Square, Corner of King Street and William Street in Waterloo

Head to Uptown Waterloo for an easter egg hunt, free caricature sketches and live music.
