The RCMP’s Northeast Nova Major Crime Unit is now investigating the disappearance of 41-year-old Kassandra Gabrielle Schoemaker. Schoemaker was reported missing on Feb. 19 and was last seen in Tarbotvale, N.S., in November 2023. She’s described as five-foot-10, between 180 and 210 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. The Northeast Nova Major Crime Unit (NEN MCU) has assumed the lead of the investigation given the time between when she was reported missing and when she was last seen, according to a Friday news release from the RCMP. Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts or who has seen or been in contact with her after November 2023 to contact the NEN MCU at 902-896-5060, referencing file number 2026-227936.
