Nominations now open for 2026 Windsor municipal election

If you want to get involved with local politics, Windsor is looking for nominations for the municipal election this year.

Nominations are officially open as of Friday for Windsor’s 2026 municipal election.

Nominations opened at 8:30 a.m. Friday and will be accepted during regular business hours until 2 p.m. on Aug. 21.

Regular business hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Appointments are encouraged.

Voting day will take place on Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Advanced voting days will be:

• Oct. 9
• Oct. 10
• Oct. 14
• Oct. 15
• Oct. 17
• Oct. 19
