Fog advisory warns of near-zero visibility across parts of southwestern Ontario

Environment Canada has issued a yellow fog advisory for parts of southwestern Ontario, warning that near-zero visibility is expected in some areas Wednesday morning.

The weather agency said travel could become hazardous as visibility may be suddenly reduced at times.

Motorists are being advised to exercise caution if heading out early.

“If driving, turn on your lights, slow down and maintain a safe following distance,” the advisory read in part.
