Brantford Bulldogs will face Barrie Colts in Eastern Conference final

The Ontario Hockey League’s Eastern Conference final is coming down to a real dog-and-pony show.

On Saturday, the Barrie Colts punched their ticket to the final by downing the Ottawa 67’s 4 – 1 in a decisive Game 5 to end their series.

The win means the Colts are on their way to face the Brantford Bulldogs to find out who really is “the beast from the east.”

Game 1 gets underway on Wednesday at the TD Civic Centre in Brantford. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.

They’ll stay in Brantford for Game 2 on Friday, before heading to Barrie for Game 3 on April 26 and Game 4 on April 28.

When the two teams met up during the regular season, they were evenly matched, winning two apiece.

However, Brantford took the most recent win back in March when they took down the Colts 5 – 3 in their own barn.
