One person has died following what police described as a drowning incident at South Beach in Grand Bend. Around 2:39 p.m. on Sunday, OPP and EMS responded to the area after receiving report of an unresponsive person. According to police, bystanders found a 67-year-old man in the water, brought him to shore and attempted life-saving measures. EMS transported the man to South Huron Hospital in Exeter where he was pronounced deceased. Police said updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
