More than 90 per cent of of folk fest tickets sold

Tickets for the Edmonton Folk Music Festival went on sale Saturday morning. All four-day passes and most of the single-day passes were sold out by Sunday.

The vast majority of tickets to this year’s Edmonton Folk Music Festival have been picked up.

Only single-day tickets for Thursday, the first day of the Aug. 6-9 festival at Gallagher Park, were available Monday morning.

Tickets went on sale Saturday.

Thursday ticket prices are $109 for adults, $56 for seniors, and $42 for youth. Entry is free for people 80 years or older, and 11 years and younger.

Cat Power, Nathaniel Rateliff, Thee Sacred Souls, Arrested Development, Corb Lund and Of Monsters and Men are among the event’s headliners.
