The City of Ottawa and the federal government are inviting you to cheer on Canada’s men’s soccer team at LeBreton Flats.

A free watch party will be held for Canada’s game against Morocco on Saturday.

The gates at the Ottawa Bluesfest site at LeBreton Flats will open at 11 a.m., and the game is at 1 p.m.

Admission is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Atletico Ottawa

Atletico Ottawa takes the pitch on Saturday at TD Place.

Atletico hosts Cavalry FC at 4 p.m.

Fireworks in Kanata

The Canada Day celebration in Kanata will continue this weekend, with fireworks Saturday.

Coun. Allan Hubley says the midway will be open on Friday and Saturday. The fireworks show is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Canada Day festivities were postponed on Wednesday due to the rain.

Our Lady Peace

Canadian alternative rock band Our Lady Peace takes the stage at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Ottawa on Friday night.

Our Lady Peace ranks as the third best-selling Canadian band.

Jurassic Kingdom

Walk amongst the dinosaurs this weekend at Wesley Clover Parks.

Jurassic Kingdom runs until July 12, with over 50 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs.
