City and Colour coming to Edmonton on summer tour

City and Colour fans can expect to see Dallas Green hit the Jubilee stage this May.

The singer-songwriter announced a special run of western Canadian tour dates by kicking off in Edmonton May 2, with stops in Calgary, Victoria, B.C., and Vancouver B.C.

Green promises spontaneous setlists, fan interaction and Julianna Riolino to open every show.

“After celebrating 20 years of recording and performing under the City and Colour moniker, I wanted to go back to the way it used to be when I first began sharing this different side of my musical heart,” Green said in a news release promoting the tour.

“I’ll be playing songs from all across my career, covers, telling stories and I would imagine a few bad jokes here and there. Looking forward to seeing all of you. Thank you to everyone for supporting this little songwriting project.”

City and Colour has also partnered with Plus$1 collecting one dollar from every ticket sold to donate to Indspire, a national Indigenous charity that invests in the education of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people.

City and Colour will perform in Edmonton May 2 at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. Tickets and information can be found online.
