A man and a woman have been charged with second-degree murder after a man was stabbed to death in downtown Edmonton in 2021. Allan Freed, 55, was found dead in the area of 93 Street and 105 Avenue on May 12, 2021. An autopsy found he died as a result of stab wounds. Daniel John Sunday, 44, and Ashley Dawn Dion, 33, were charged with second-degree murder in connection to the death. They’re both in custody. Police are not looking for anyone else.
